A striking triangular glass structure housing large sculptures of the apparition scene, crafted by Italian artist Lorenzo Ferri. This is the spiritual centrepiece of the entire Shrine complex.
Opened in 1976, the Basilica holds up to 10,000 people and features one of the largest mosaics in Europe — over 1.5 million individual pieces of glass — depicting the 1879 apparition.
